Aspect

An aspect is the angular separation between two points measured along zodiac longitude. Major aspects include the conjunction at 0 degrees, sextile at 60 degrees, square at 90 degrees, trine at 120 degrees, and opposition at 180 degrees.

Aspects describe geometric relationships. An orb describes how far a particular separation is from the exact angle of an aspect.
